Material Overview
Our brown MDF boards are made from compressed wood fibers (Medium Density Fibreboard) and are smoothly finished on both sides. This fine, homogeneous material is extremely suitable for laser cutting and laser engraving. Thanks to the consistent density, it cuts cleanly and splinter-free, with minimal post-processing.
Laser cutting produces a dark, sharp cut line with a small kerf width of approximately 0.2 mm. Engravings appear deep brown with sharp contrast, without discoloration or burning of the surface.
