Material Overview

Our opal PMMA sheets (3 mm) are semi-transparent with a soft, milky appearance that subtly diffuses light without being completely transparent. Made from UV-resistant PMMA (like Plexiglas®/Perspex®), the opal acrylic is 25× stronger and 50% lighter than glass, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and laser-friendly with finely polished edges and subtly whiter engravings.

Light Opal
This 'privacy' acrylic makes shapes visible while providing diffusion, making it perfect for lighting applications, panels, and atmospheric interior or exterior projects. The transparent effect comes from a light transmittance of ~80%

Milk White Opal
Milk white or opal are semi-transparent and beautifully diffuse light evenly – ideal for applications such as light boxes, illuminated logos, and interior panels.In normal light, they appear opaque white, but with backlighting, they create a warm, soft glow.The transparent effect arises from the light transmittance of ~32%
