Material Overview
Our mirror acrylic sheets (PMMA) in silver and gold are specially designed for laser cutting and engraving. They consist of a transparent acrylic base with a reflective coating on one side. With the same flat and scratch-resistant surface, the material shines beautifully visible, yet remains significantly lighter and safer than glass. Extensively usable for displays, lettering, decor, and technical applications.
Important to know: because the mirror layer is applied to an acrylic sheet, it is relatively flexible compared to glass. Therefore, it is important to mount a mirror (especially large surfaces) on a flat surface.
To prevent damage to the mirror layer during laser cutting, we recommend cutting the design in reverse and placing the sheet with the mirror layer side up in the machine.Engraving lines and surfaces must also be applied to the back (mirror layer) to prevent double reflections.

How do I know if a material is suitable for my laser cutter?

Are the plates the exact specified size?
We snijden/zagen de platen zo nauwkeurig mogelijk. Kleine afwijkingen van enkele millimeters kunnen voorkomen door het zaag- of snijproces.
Can I return materials?
