Material Overview

Okoumé plywood is made up of thin layers of Okoumé veneer glued with waterproof adhesive, making it ideal for humid conditions or outdoor use without additional treatment. The material is sturdy, relatively dark in color, and features a beautiful, natural wood look with subtle veneer transitions. The sheets always have a better and a less attractive side.

This wood species is classified as hardwood. Because of this, the cut edges turn black and sooty, which requires post-processing if your application calls for a clean product.
