Material overview
Our mirror acrylic sheets (PMMA) in silver and gold are specially designed for laser cutting and engraving. They consist of a transparent acrylic base with a reflective coating on one side. With the same flat and scratch-resistant surface, the material shines beautifully, yet remains significantly lighter and safer than glass. Widely used for displays, lettering, decor, and technical applications.
Important to know: because the mirror layer is applied to an acrylic sheet, it is relatively flexible compared to glass. Therefore, it is important to mount the mirror (especially large surfaces) on a completely flat surface.
To prevent damage to the mirror layer during laser cutting, we recommend cutting your design in reverse and placing the sheet with the mirror layer facing upwards in the machine. Engraving lines and areas must also be applied to the back (mirror layer) to prevent double reflections.

Zijn de platen de exact aangegeven maat?
We snijden/zagen de platen zo nauwkeurig mogelijk. Kleine afwijkingen van enkele millimeters kunnen voorkomen door het zaag- of snijproces.
Kan ik materialen retourneren?
Ja, ongebruikte en onbeschadigde materialen kunnen binnen 14 dagen worden geretourneerd. Op maat gemaakte of speciaal bestelde platen vallen hier niet onder. Meer informatie vind je op onze retourpagina.
