Material Overview

Our transparent extruded PMMA sheets (XT) are clear and uniform in thickness, giving them a minimalist, crystal-clear appearance while being much lighter and more impact-resistant than traditional glass. Thanks to their sleek shape and minimal thickness variation, they are perfectly suited for laser cutting, resulting in beautifully smooth cut edges. XT is often chosen for applications where precise dimensional tolerances are required, such as displays and enclosures. Due to the manufacturing process and internal stress, extruded material can be slightly more sensitive to minor micro-cracks during post-processing than the cast variant. It is therefore recommended to use the cast variant for parts where thickness consistency is less critical. 

Line and surface engraving is possible on this material; however, the results will not be as crisp and even as on cast acrylic.
