Material Overview
Birch aircraft-grade plywood consists of three flexible layers of high-quality light birch veneer. This extra-thin plywood is both strong and supple, with a nearly flawless surface on both sides. Perfectly suitable for laser cutting and engraving thanks to its consistent structure and minimal thickness.
When laser cutting, a black cutting line is created with minimal smoke and soot marks, and the cut edge may leave a slight residue. Engravings show clearly in contrast with black/brown tones and maintain a subtle, natural appearance.
Because the material has an odd number of veneer layers, it is fairly flexible along the grain.
